1. About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of https://pilotexam.in, including its account services, question banks, mock examinations, assignments, study notes, learning resources, and related support.

“PilotExam.in,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator identified as PilotExam.in. “You,” “User,” and “Candidate” refer to a person accessing or using the platform.

Please read these Terms before registering, accessing restricted content, or purchasing access. By registering or using the services, you agree to comply with these Terms to the extent an enforceable agreement is formed under applicable law. If you do not agree, please discontinue use and do not purchase access.

Our Privacy Policy separately explains how personal information is handled. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace any separate consent required by law for processing personal information.

2. Educational purpose and independent status

PilotExam.in provides supplementary educational resources primarily for candidates preparing for DGCA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) theory examinations.

PilotExam.in is an independent provider. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation or another governmental aviation authority.

The platform does not conduct official licensing examinations, issue aviation licences, or replace mandatory training, official publications, or regulatory requirements.

Question banks and mock examinations are practice resources. Their inclusion does not represent a promise that the same questions will appear in an official examination.

We do not guarantee examination success, a particular score, licensing approval, employment, or any regulatory outcome. Candidates remain responsible for checking current requirements with the appropriate authority. Materials must not be used as operational flight instructions or as a substitute for approved manuals and procedures.

3. Registration and eligibility

Registration is open to people interested in the platform’s aviation learning resources. Basic registration information includes your name and email address. You must provide accurate information and use an email address you are authorised to use.

Registration does not establish that you satisfy DGCA age, educational, medical, or examination eligibility requirements.

Candidates under 18 may register subject to applicable law. Where an adult must enter into an agreement or authorise a purchase on a candidate’s behalf, a parent or lawful guardian must do so. Any legally required parental consent for personal-data processing must be obtained through an appropriate process; this clause is not itself verification of that consent.

Do not impersonate another person or use another person’s information without authority.

4. Free and paid access

Free learning resources are available after login where designated as free. Registration does not automatically provide access to paid resources.

To request paid access, email ranjeet@pilotexam.in. Paid access is arranged through email. The website does not currently have an integrated online payment gateway.

Before paying, review the available content and confirm that the proposed access meets your needs. Obtain written confirmation of the price, included subjects or resources, access period, and payment instructions.

The written access arrangement communicated before payment defines the purchase. Do not assume that payment includes every course, future resource, lifetime access, or access beyond the agreed period unless expressly confirmed.

Questions about activation or access should be sent to the same email address, identifying your registered account and the relevant payment.

5. Payment, cancellations, and refunds

Payments are non-refundable except for a verified duplicate payment or where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.

Please assess the available content and clarify the proposed purchase before paying. Subject to mandatory legal rights, refunds are not offered because you change your mind, stop studying, do not use the resources, change examination plans, or do not achieve your intended examination result.

If you accidentally pay twice for the same purchase, email ranjeet@pilotexam.in with the payment dates, amounts, and transaction references. The finance team will verify whether a duplicate payment was received. A confirmed duplicate amount will be refunded. There is no separate finance email address.

Do not send passwords, one-time passwords, card security codes, or unrelated financial information.

Where access is terminated for established serious misconduct or a material breach, fees already paid will not ordinarily be refunded and may be retained to the extent permitted by law.

This policy does not exclude remedies for a failure to provide the agreed service, a legally actionable service deficiency, or another circumstance in which applicable law requires a remedy. Payment does not waive those rights.

6. Individual accounts and account security

Each account is for one candidate’s personal use. Account sharing, lending, renting, sale, transfer, or disclosure of login credentials to another learner is prohibited.

There is currently no fixed login-count limit. This does not permit several people to use one account. A candidate’s use of their own account on different devices is not, by itself, account sharing.

Keep your credentials confidential, log out of shared devices, and notify ranjeet@pilotexam.in promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

You are responsible for your own misuse and for taking reasonable care of your credentials. Responsibility for unauthorised activity will be assessed from the circumstances and applicable law; these Terms do not automatically make you liable for every action performed through a compromised account.

7. Personal-use licence and view-only content

Subject to these Terms and the access granted to you, PilotExam.in permits you to view authorised resources for your own examination preparation. This permission is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and subject to suspension or termination as described below.

Unless a resource is expressly offered for download, learning content is for viewing within the platform by the authorised logged-in candidate.

You must not copy, print, photograph, screenshot, screen-record, extract, or reproduce restricted learning content without prior written permission, except to the extent permitted by a non-excludable legal right.

Purchasing access does not transfer ownership of any content or grant a teaching, resale, publishing, or distribution licence.

8. Downloadable resources

Where PilotExam.in expressly provides a download option, you may download the relevant material for your personal study, subject to any conditions displayed with it.

Permission to download does not include permission to print, distribute, sell, sublicense, upload, publish, or share that material. Printing requires express permission from PilotExam.in or, where applicable, the relevant rights holder.

You must not circulate resources through Telegram, WhatsApp, social media, shared drives, public repositories, another website, a coaching group, or any other distribution channel, including private groups.

Do not remove or obscure identifying information, copyright notices, watermarks, or embedded user identifiers.

9. Prohibited use

You must not:

• Share access credentials or help another person bypass access restrictions.
• Redistribute questions, answers, explanations, notes, or downloaded resources without permission.
• Use bots, crawlers, scripts, browser automation, or other tools to scrape or bulk-extract protected content.
• Upload protected content to an external AI service or use it to build a dataset or train a model without written permission.
• Manipulate quiz attempts, assignment submissions, completion records, or learning progress to misrepresent your activity.
• Attempt unauthorised access to another account, administrative function, or restricted system.
• Introduce malware, disrupt the service, or interfere with security controls.
• Remove or alter embedded identifiers or attempt to conceal unauthorised copying.
• Use the resources for commercial training, institutional distribution, or a competing service without permission.

Restrictions on software analysis or modification apply only to the extent lawful and do not override applicable open-source licences or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Learning activity monitoring

PilotExam.in records activity within the platform to evaluate learning progress, resource access, assignment activity, and possible misuse.

Instructors or administrators may review interactions with notes, quizzes, assignments, and other resources to understand participation, identify learning needs, and investigate suspected manipulation or unauthorised access.

Activity indicators do not conclusively establish whether a candidate has understood a lesson or committed misconduct. Relevant context and available evidence should be considered.

The Privacy Policy explains the personal information involved. The platform does not access your camera or microphone and does not operate screen-recording detection.

11. Embedded user identifiers and content protection

PilotExam.in embeds account-linked user identifiers within its pages and learning content. These identifiers are intended to help associate an accessed or reproduced copy with its originating account.

You must not remove, modify, obscure, or interfere with these identifiers.

Where identifiers survive copying or redistribution, they may help investigate the source of the material. They are not a guarantee that every copy can be traced or conclusive proof that the account holder personally distributed it.

Suspected unauthorised distribution may result in investigation, access restrictions, a removal request, or legal proceedings where supported by the evidence and applicable law.

12. Intellectual property and third-party materials

Original content created by PilotExam.in, including its original questions, explanations, study notes, and original platform elements, belongs to PilotExam.in.

Third-party books, illustrations, extracts, software, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Relevant credits, notices, and licence conditions continue to apply.

Credit or attribution does not transfer ownership or independently grant permission to reproduce a third-party work. No provision of these Terms grants rights that PilotExam.in does not hold.

Rights holders who believe material has been used without authorisation may contact ranjeet@pilotexam.in with the page address, identification of the work, and information supporting their claim.

13. Comments and uploaded material

You are responsible for comments, images, and other material you submit. Only submit material you are entitled to share. Do not upload unlawful content, confidential information, another person’s private information, or material that infringes their rights.

By submitting material for display, you permit the processing and display reasonably necessary to operate that feature. This does not transfer ownership of your material.

Comments or uploads that breach these Terms may be removed or restricted. Avoid placing sensitive information in public comments or uploading images containing location metadata.

14. Suspension, termination, and review

We may suspend access immediately, without advance notice where reasonably necessary, to address suspected account compromise, serious misuse, unauthorised distribution, security interference, or another material breach.

We may terminate or delete an account where serious misconduct or a material breach is established, where required by law, or where continued access presents a substantiated security risk.

A temporary restriction may be used while an incident is investigated. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may request information needed to clarify the circumstances.

You may request review by emailing ranjeet@pilotexam.in with your registered email address and explanation. A review request does not automatically restore access.

Following termination, you must stop accessing restricted resources and cease any unauthorised use or distribution. Any instruction to delete unlawfully obtained copies remains subject to lawful evidence-preservation requirements.

Fee treatment is governed by Section 5. Account deletion and retained records are governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable law. Exercising a legitimate privacy right or making a good-faith complaint is not itself misconduct.

15. Availability and accuracy

The platform may experience maintenance, interruptions, technical faults, or changes to educational content. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every resource will be free from error.

Please report content errors or access problems to ranjeet@pilotexam.in. Candidates should verify safety-critical and regulatory information against current authoritative publications.

Changes to resources do not create an unrestricted right to withhold an agreed paid service or override mandatory consumer remedies.

16. Liability and enforcement

To the extent permitted by law, PilotExam.in is not responsible for examination results, licensing decisions, or losses caused by a candidate’s own misuse, failure to protect credentials, or failure to follow official requirements.

To the extent legally permitted, liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform is excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. Account suspension or deletion does not automatically remove any legal responsibility of PilotExam.in.

For unlawful copying, distribution, or unauthorised access, we may seek remedies available under law, including removal of material, an injunction, or compensation where justified. Criminal complaints will be considered only where the facts provide a basis for an alleged offence. A breach of these Terms is not automatically a criminal offence.

17. Changes to these Terms

Revisions will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes affecting ongoing access should be brought to affected users’ attention through an appropriate notice, including email where relevant.

Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights or create consent where separate consent is legally required.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes may be brought before courts, consumer commissions, or other bodies having jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing here restricts a statutory right to approach an appropriate authority.

19. Privacy Policy

Use of the platform is also governed by the Pilotexam.in Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, processed, and protected.
